Dangal- Another sports based movie. Indias first woman Gold Medalist wrestlers(Geeta Phogat) story.
Dangal-A story of a father played by the perfectionist Aamir Khan who also was a wrestler but unable to win Gold Medal for India. But he always wants to win a Gold Medal for India. He wants to fulfill his dream by making his son a wrestler. But fortunately his wife played by Sakshi Tanwar delivers 4 daughters in a row. When the daughters grew up he finds that a gold medal is a gold medal whether it is won by a boy or a girl. He prepares her two elder daughters Geeta and Babita as wrestler and later her daughter Geeta won the first woman Gold Medal. Dangal gives message about women empowerment and feticides and says do not diffrentiate between your childrens whether it is boy or a gil. What a boy can do a girl can do also.
Performance- As always Aamir khan is outstanding and remarkable as Mahavir Singh Phogat, As well as other cast like Sakshi Tanwar, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Sanya Malhotra, Zaira Wasim and others.
Other parts of the film are also excellent. Whether it is Script, Direction, Screenplay, Dialogue, Cinematography.
Music-Music is good but not like Chak De India. It runs in the background which gave a good impact to the scenes. Title track Dangal Dangal gives feel.
On the whole a good movie to watch this weekend. A good New Year gift.
