The soundtrack of "Dangal" has recently been released, and is quite good and sounds refreshing.
Haanikaarak Bapu: This track will appeal to the audience instantly because of its innocence. The lyrics penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya are simply hilarious and give a flavor of nostalgia to people of all ages. One has to credit young singers Sarwar Khan and Sartaz Khan Barna for the brilliant energy they bring in to the song with their vocals. Pritam makes the song extremely catchy with its main riff.
Dhakkad: Raftaar’s rap song Dhaakad is high on attitude and it’s the right one. Dedicated to describe the strength of the girls, Pritam gives it the right beats to make it sound rustic. There is another version of this song, sung by Aamir Khan himself. The music video appeals, but the original track is way better.
Gilehriyaan: Jonita Gandhi’s Gilehriyaan is an extremely cute track. The soft number, rightly blends with the girlish spirit of Geeta. Gandhi’s vocals compliment well to musical setting. This is definitely one of the best tracks from the album.
Dangal: The title track of the film lives up to our expectations. High on the energetic vocals of Daler Mehendi and with a very catchy hook, the song makes up for a good hear. This song is sure to hit the crowd during the films.
Naina: The only Arijit Singh track in the album, Naina is an emotional track that is expected to be a tear-jerker in the film. Arijit does a good job but it’s Pritam’s musical arrangements that is more impressive. The only complaint with this song is that it is too short.
Idiot Banna: This track has been sung by the Nooran Sisters. An upbeat track, made for the wedding occasions, this doesnt fuse well with the theme of the film. This track is not highly recommended, with the lack of modern touch to it.
Overall, the "Dangal" provides some really entertaining as well as inspiring, energetic songs.Haanikarak Bapu andDhakkad are the best tracks of this album.
