Being bored with routine lyf, me and my friends four of us planned to go to Dapoli about 264 kms from Pune(km’s actually depend on the route you take).So our plan was
-start on Oct 15th 2010 early in the morning around 6 by car
-reach our destination and stay der for d night n come back pune the next day...
There are many routes available search in google maps...we went by car(Accent-Rs 2000 was spent for petrol...to and fro)but we took the longes route khopli-->Pen-->Mangaon-Khed-Dapoli which took around 6 hrs for us...coz the other routes are full of ghats and heard that road is not good at al...so we thot better to take d longes route...so we started at 6..went on n on..had breakfast after pen in KAMAT residency(good for breakfast) and then on the way we found PALA CAVES...no so great but good for halt and taking few clicks...n by about 12 30 r so we reached Dapoli..then we came to no dat the beach(Murud and harini) is about 12 kms from dapoli..the moment I enter dapoli I could sense dat we entered a wrong place...
Nehow we traveled again to our destination the MURUD beach....bas what a scenic beauty....total mud, nonsense, dogs, bad smell, muddy water, untidy sea shore.....wow...we were enthralled...my foot...I at least thot of havin good food beside the beach..but to my wonder...no restaurants r shops nearby....very poor hotels...n den with little hope..we went to Harini...n dis is another master piece...goodness...worst place...natin to njoi r watch..our mood was off...so we came bak to dapoli...to hav lunch...n stopped at hotel VRINDAVAN..ok kind hotel...to have our lunch...food was below avg...den for a change we planned to go to Mumbai.(my place)..so planned to take different route...as we would get bored if we follow the same route as earlier...so took Mandgard road----ambet---goregaon---mangoan---straight uptil Panvel--u have good enuf directions both for Pune/Panvel....so reached in about 4hrs...road was good..absolutely no traffic at al..all u ppl from pune/mumbai take dis route..very hassle free..
reached mumbai...and came bak pune the other day.!!
