I was shocked to read the bad reviews about Sea Princess ( Dapoli), because when I was in India and needed a quite getaway to reconnect with myself, my friends ( who are extremely well travelled within India and abroad) suggested this place to me.It was the perfect weekend that I spent there.
The beach is reclusive and beautiful! The service is excellent and I found the hygiene standards way above par. The staff was really warm and I ended up making friends with the family who owns the place, their daughter is delightful!
Everyone has a freedom of opinion but I believe that communication is important. If you had a problem at the place you could have communicated with the owners, because when you write such reveiws online you have the power to dissuade others from missing out on this magical experience. Every place has its own charm and this quaint hotel certainly makes an impression on you. I would call it a sanctuary to get away from noise, people, the city and work.
Its blissful to wake up to the sound of the sea waves and sitting by the sea with a cup of coffee in the morning is as good as meditation. I personally hate the partygoing life and recommend this for people who want to reconnect with nature and themselves. In the north you hear a lot of mountainous resorts like these but if you want a quiet escape by the sea in the Konkan region, youll be pleasantly surprised how this place fits to your criteria.
