Where can one find pure, rarely touched, white sand… Dapoli… a beach where the sea & sand isn’t crowded. Where the hotel overlooks the sea and is situated right between a huge hill… thats where we lived when I was on a vacation with my family… 10 footsteps away from the sand on the sea front. In a small hotel but which had a view so close to the sand, that one can see the crabs and tortoises crawl on the beach at night. Early in the morning when one awakes the sun is bright to welcome them and what’s more interesting is the pattern on the beach laid naturally by the crabs and tortoises. They even have water sports which take you deep within the sea to see the dolphins which is quite a rare site here in Maharashtra now. Another question that rises in ones mind is food… something people look forward to most on vacations. The hotel we lived in served us delicious breakfast and fresh fish from the sea every single day in different styles. What’s even better is the silence, peace and privacy one can get here. For me it was one of the most beautiful destinations to visit with my family because not only was it great to have your own uninhabited fun, but it was also great for viewing the stars high above your head. We were lucky enough to see a milky way which nobody believes can be seen from the earth… but I know that magical experience was true & it could surely happen to you too since it is a beautiful world after all.
