Dhabas are joints which are typically heard or rather seen while travelling from city to city on higways. Generally where the trucks stop...........but this one is different............lot of family crowd. Though far from city quite haunted by mombaikars specially on weekends when the family wants a long................drive .
The food served here is basically Punjabi dhaba food.........one would fancy to eat if one is fond of the kind of food. Situated on Western Express highway (Dahisar) with ample parking space one cannot miss the sight while driving as the crowds pull your attention. The ambience..........very very plain with a lot of chairs and tablesscattered around, nothing fancy. The backyard too has some sitting space with the dhaba lay out of Khatias or charpais(originally choir beds...now afcourse of plastic.....) with a shade over them. The conitnous flow of music in the background Hindi afcourse............its a dhaba. The food worth tasting is their Tandoori Chicken, Dal Tadka(yellow dal) and their rotis.......good.
There are a variety of other Punjabi dishes and Kababs too. Reasonably priced. Well the kids have a small play side and an ice-cream parlour too & the adults need not worry a well stocked permit room. The service is quick and attended too fast. So its drive ka drive , outing ka outing aur khana autr pina.........aur kya bahana chahiye(In short an evening out with family)
