Friends this week I saw the movie darbar of Super Mega Star Rajni Anna ( Rajnikanth) directed by A.R.Murugadoss.
Rajni sir has come up with again a commercial masala type movies in the box office.
About the movie, the movie has a very understated and routined story which is very common in commercial cinema, especially in Rajnikanth’s cinema.
Rajni sir is an honest police officer who tries to fight against corruption and always a god figure for the poor and underprivileged.
Thus the story goes on.
This is a full commercial movie friend so if you finding a good script and story then this movie is not for you ideally.
The film has everything that a hardcore commercial movie should have,
This film has romance, comedy, dance, emotion, action everything though sometimes they look very illogical and irrelevant.
I would not say movies all songs are good, but few of them are quite entertaining, along with the songs viewers can see some stunning dance performance by The Anna( Rajnikanth).
It’s a south based movie and in the south based film comedy is the prime spice between the movie, this film also has an enormous comedy scene that makes laugh the audiences.
Here what I must mention that after all-surpassing everything action and revenge is the movie’s main theme what looks very obviously in the film.
For the acting performances in the movie, Rajnikanth tries to prove his best, In some scenes of the movie you will not be able to make out that indeed he is a 60 plus actor acting on the screen, he looks as usual evergreen in the film from first to last and of course the main hero of the film.
But I would here want to say that his make up should have been better.
Actress Nayantara’s role is though short still she impresses by her looks and some powerful dialogues.
On the other side, Other actors of the film are more or less okay, this is a commercial film guy, moreover made from south basically, so there is the most number of films, people don’t often see the versatility of an actor, so their mist films are not judged by the versatility of the actors or actresses.
So That’s why I said other actor’s work is more or less Think Thak ( Ok).
But I tremendously got disappointed seeing Suniel Shetty in this film.
I guess he is the most minus point of the film, he never goes with that role,
I don’t know what happened, but Suniel Shetty could not justice to his role.
Either the director would not have been able to bring out the actor from him or he has just been wasted.
Lastly, Beyond having everything,
Comedy, romance, emotion, action,
The film bore the audience,
The film has a very routined and well familiar old script so audiences started feeling bore between the movie.
They can easily guess what the next is going to happen, and the screenplay of the movie also very timidly written.
Due to having a very oldish, known, routined and ordinary script, the film fails to do anything extraordinary in the box office.
I would give this film 2.5 /5.
