I’m browsing the net, checking my email, downloading some video of hendrix and suddenly my winamp starts playing any colour you like . Intoxicating. Absolutely. Orgasmic. You bet.
I cant believe that when I was in class 12th I hadn’t heard of Pink Floyd (or even Hendrix or Joplin, for that). In college, there were just so many people who were PF die hard fans... so I asked to myself, what makes them so good?? and I found my answer when I heard TIME, followed by greatest gig in the sky and then money.
The band, what can one say about them...Roger Waters....A lyrical masterpiece, a great storyteller and a brilliant musician. David Gilmour, the guitar gently plays in his hand...Nick Mason, awesome...The only other person I miss is Syd Barrett, the one who made them a psyche-d band.
The Album plays awesome music, no doubt.
Something slowly moves into your body and resides in your soul. The exterior remains the same while inside there is an upheavel of storms.
