Pyscho Spunky Stylish Different Type

I went to watch this movie as I found the promos to be weird and I came back thrilled and excited that finally bollywood got itself a movie that is absolutely pyscho without any valid reason or justification.

the movie is about 6 friends who when returning from a picnic get stranded in a jungle when their tyre gets punctured. they spot a light not far off, go there find a ruin and settle down there to spend the night. they light bonfires and start to scare each other by narrating stories and what stories they caome up with!!!!!!! this where the movie takes off...

the first story with antara and sohail sets the pace and the next one with boman irani and saif if an absolute scream with boman irani performing brilliantly. the next one about a teacher and a student who never completes the home work but suddenly starts to do it...is zany and whacky but I think will be the least appreciated one.

after the interval shilpa shetty goes bonkers when she buys cheap apples..followed by the best story as far as performances are concerned the nana - vivek joyride. the last story about aftab a ordinary guy pissed of by himself gets super powers and how it destoys him.

while the stories are being narrated the friends go out for some reason to never return. infact here it is sushant who returns for the climax.....

the ending though a bit weak compared to the movie still works.

1) the story - its an absolute treat to watch a bollywood movie which comes up with pyscho and weird ways of storytelling. although the movie has no story though there are 6 in the movie........it will do. give us more please

2) the performances - this is bollywoods character driven movie not a hero or heroine driven one. big actors in wee bit roles as characters not super heroes work well. every body has come up with good performances .

3) the director and crew - great direction, slick editing , brilliant camerawork and haunting background score. all 4 work in tandem to create a atmosphere that grips you and never looses its grip.

i personally think rgv has another winner on his hands.all in all a stylish movie with a bizzare concept of story telling never tried in bollywood. will it work....i dont think so. in the cities it might but elsewhere lets wait and watch .

do the people love to get pysched ?
