I am one of those people who only drinks water so I can taste the difference in many different brands. About a a year ago I stopped drinking AQUAFINA and DASANI not because of taste but because I kept getting an allergic reaction everytime I drank them.
With both products, within minutes of drinking the water, the glands on either side of my throat would swell up and I would have a horrible throat infection for about 4 days. I can drink regular tap water, spring water, and filtered water with out having a reaction, but DASANI and AQUAFINA always make me have an allergic reaction (and the same exact reaction every time).
Does anyone know of any chenicals or minerals that these 2 waters have in common? I would like to find out what it is that I am allergic to. This allergy is really a hinderance because anywhere I go (school trips with my kids, gas stations, vending machines) places only seem to sell eith AQUAFINA or DASANI.
