Sooper padam people. Good entertainment. Finally Kamal learns something from thalaivar Rajni and makes a movie for the common man rather than padicha thiruttu vcd le padam parkare medhavi’s.
Obviously, Kamal has not interfered with director this time and therefore gets a successful movie out. Instead of focussing too much on logic and things like that which do not have repeat value. He has used style and masala. the result. blockbuster movie.
Kamal is a good learner but it took him lot of time to understand what the audience want from him. It required 10 roles and KSR to deliver that. He tried act like a medhavi and released very boring and stupid movies like hey ram and aalavandhan now he learnt his lesson.
I am not telling story here because it is not important(actually there is not much of a story). Just a chase from start to end with another extra story for nambi character. watch it like two movies that get somewhat joined in the end. Even if you dont want the first 15-20 minutes it is ok because all the comedy and action is after that only.
Taking of performances, though I am a Rajni fan and Kamal cannot be compared with Thalaivar, he is a good actor. We can say second best to Thalaivar.
Good comedy, Mallika is super sexy, Asin is ok but sad. no good duet with her(kamal is still learning people forgive him. Next time he will sing duet with her), balaram is kalakkal. good fights and chases and catchy songs. what more do you want? Enjoy Rajni type kamal padam.
