Dash of This and Dash of That (DoTDoT) is one of the lesser known restaurants in City Center. I call this so coz I have always found this place to be empty even on weekends. Having said that this place has seats for 20-24 people. So its quite a small joint by City Center standards.
DoTDoT serves South East Asian cuisines, particularly Thai and Malaysian food. The food is tweaked to suit the Indian tastes and it has been done very well. Some of the ingredients for Thai dishes are imported from Singapore and so that gives the food some authenticity.
Try out the Thai Green and Red Curry with plain rice. The Kafir Lime in the curry gives a very pleasant taste to the palate. Also try their salads. Having eaten Thai in South East Asian countries and in DoTDoT I can tell you that the Thai served here is as good as outside the country and it doesnt have the pungent smell that most Thai foods have. The only problem with this place is that often the food items on menu are not available.
The interior decor is very well done and its a pleasure to eat out here. The place has a small bar which serves the usual drinks. Prices are bit on the higher side. Having eaten Thai at ITC Pan Asian and Benjarong I would recommend this place for a good thai meal.
