I am a big fan of Raghu Ramakrishnan. I just finished reading his book, Database Management Systems: A Guide to Designing and Implementing Data Storage Systems and it was exactly what I needed. It’s a great book for beginners who want to learn about DBMS.
This book is a must-read for those who are looking for a quick and easy way to learn how to build and maintain databases. The author has done an excellent job of explaining the various aspects of database management in a very simple manner.
