I will try to cover up, almost everything about DAV PUBLIC SCHOOL, in this review. Try to read till the end.
POSITIVE SIDE : -
So if we look at the priorities of this school, the school mainly concentrates upon : -
1.Academic performance
2.Moral values
These are the two utmost priorities the school has, and no doubt that, it has been ranked number 3rd in top CBSE schools, all over India. The teachers here are very helpful, and polite with the students, and also they try their level best to make students understand, even a more complex topic, in much simpler ways. The school also has Smart Boards, which makes understanding the concept much easier for the students here. The school also has a canteen, and to avoid the rush in canteens, every standard has given its own day to have canteen food. The staff ( peon) here are also very helpful, caring and loving. The school has minimum 3-4 cameras in each floor, in the corridors, and also the school has a camera in each section, to avoid indiscipline and help students to concentrate more on the study, than to getting distracted. The school also have a nurse to help students with physical problems, scars, etc. The school also have a computer lab and a chemistry lab, for a better practical experience. The school also have counseling sections maximum 2 times a year and a year, and also the councilor is present the whole year to help students manage their mental health and problems. As I mentioned earlier that, the school also concentrates MORAL VALUES, the school teaches students a special subject, from 3rd to 6th standard, the subject is called "DHARMA SHIKSHA", in this subject the students are thought, how to treat people positively and also many other things. The 10 Vedic rules of the school itself show, how important it is for them to inculcate the moral values "MAHARISHI DAYANAND SARASWATI" had, the founder DAV PUBLIC SCHOOL.
NEGATIVE SIDE : -
1) So, as we talk about classrooms here, the benches are very small for students of class 9th and 10th, which sometimes feels suffocating, and we rather concentrate on adjusting ourselves, than on the studies.
2) I myself have seen people getting bullied of my class, by our seniors ( not much harsh), and we cannot do anything in that age group because we are not counseled or thought to share anything from someone, so, even if we try to, we cannot share it with our parents or our teachers.
3) Not much support to sports- I know that many national players have passed out from this school, but in Mumbai (Thane) branch of DAV, not much support is granted by the principal in sports sections, the only concentration and priority of the school is the academic performance, the students here can max ( that though if lucky) , play at DAV nationals, where students from DAVs branches from all over India participate. Even if a student is talented, he/she have no support from the school.
These are the 3 Major negative things I wanted to mention about DAV PUBLIC SCHOOL, THANE, MUMBAI branch.
Thank You.
