I read one of the review in the mouthshut using lots of HELL in the review comments relating to the school and its teachers. I was forced to register to this site and write my opinion too.
My 7.5 yrs old son and 3 yrs old daughter are studying in the D.A.V Adambakkam. My son is in the III std. My kids are well mannered. I do agree the school is not great in the co-curricular activities but on a whole I feel the school is good. I always have other part time sports club/music academies to substitute for these.
There might be one or two harsh teachers. There is always a possibility of any school having a percentage of not well-mannered teacher.. Not all fingers are the same. So far the teachers have been really humble to me at almost all occasions. My son’s classmate ’s parents would say..ayyo that mam can’t go near her, she is a nut..but I could comfortably converse with the very same teacher and get information that I want.
You should understand that handling one or two kids at ur home is a hectic job as a parent then imagine the plight of the teachers who have to handle so many kids. It is not justice to scold them with out knowing the true situation. Show some patience and humbleness in your talk surely they will resciprocate the same kindness and try to respond in the way u expect. I will recommend D.A.V Adambakkam for any kids in my surrounds as always. see ya.
