One of the best places to visit in Meghalaya. If you are tired of the cold air in shillong region the you should probably get a warm chilling day or so in dawki. Umngot river where you could even see the bottom of the river as the water is crystal clear. The boats seems to be flying over this river and it’s really pleasing to our eyes. Apart from umngot river you can see the india-bangladesh border through which about 10000 trucks come and go everyday. And lastly you should visit shnongpdeng which is not so far from dawki if you intend to do some camping.
