If a slight theme spillover doesnt bother you, then here goes : Some virus of sorts acts on the people, which makes them half-dead. They are alive, but all they want to do is kill. Plain and Simple. Shoot them in the head, and problem solved. If they bite you, just too bad. You will turn evil pretty soon...thats about it. A group of ’strangers’ collect around by accident and try to save themselves, then the guy next door..and a dog ! Standard Axn Masala...
Not considering the atrocious similarity to the movie 28 Days, it has been made pretty well... The thrilling scenes hit you hard, and the jokes are not jarring. The first half slacks a little bit, where a lot of ’jhatka’ scenes are followed by a brief period of happiness and normality (even even 10000 Zombies are trying to murder you). But this relaxation mood of the survivors runs a bit too long...
The movie has the standard american hit-kill-run-explosion-just made it drama, working just fine for the Indian viewers. A dog turns out to be a major factor in the film, which I PERSONALLY find exceedingly stupid. I hope you think the same..
Watch it. DON’T BUY POPCORN...bloody money-suckers. ..(hahaha...)
