I’m a Senior Software Engineer working with a top Mutual Fund IT Cative in Gurgaon. I’ve been reading mouthshut reviews since long, and they have rather proved to be extremely helpful to me always. So now i’ve decided to become a part of this community and provide my contribute as well...:-)
I bought a Maruto Alto LXI from DD Motors (Wazirpur) in last week of March 2009. Actually I firstly consulted a number of dealers, like DD Motors Wazirpur Magic Auto Karol Bagh, Marketing Times Rajouri, Competent Wazirpur and Krish Motors Rani Bagh. And openly went for a hard bargain. Finally, I was getting the same deal from both Magic Auto and DD Mot (25K for my old car + 5K exch bonus, and, new Alto at 2.76L on road). But opted for DD since there sales guys entertained me much better than those at Magic Auto, and, also DD has a larger dealer network with good reputation in Delhi.
I took a car loan of 1.5 L (SBI) that was arranged by DD sales guy only, made down payment of rest of the amount, and, finally got my ferrari (that what I call my alto) on 29th March. Now the most imp things. Benefits of buying a car from DD Motors (Wazirpur specially).
- Smart sales guys. Knows very well how to entertain customers, greets you with a smile always. They actually have good product knowledge as well, which is hard to find at other dealers.2. On time delivery. I was promised for 29th March (Sunday), but I got call on Friday itself that my car is ready (actually I had asked them for body color bumpers as well).3. Good and proactive customer care. After I had my car, I got atleast 3 calls from them - asking for feedback regarding my experience with them and any suggestions ( I gave them 2....:-D).4. Most imp - they gave me the best deal.5. Feebies - Inspite of my hard bargain and even after such a good deal, they gave me free cotton seat covers, wheel cover, and, temple. That was something completely unexpected for me.6. Last moment changes are allowed. I firstly chose Wine Red color. But later changed my mind, and, asked them to give me silky silved just 4 days before delivery. And they said - yes sir, no problem.
However, one thing that they are really poor at is there documentation. When we went to take the delivery of our car - we found that the address written on the bill is wrong. This is inspite of the fact when we had given them all docs (including address proof) almost 2 weeks back. So we got it rectified on bill and insurance. Terrible thing was when I went to get my RC yesterday (12th July), it was again haivng that wrong address. This actually astranged me a lot. Thought, they have assured me that they’ll get new RC for me - but i’ve to submite all docs again. Plus a delay of almost 2 more weeks.
I think DD Motors Wazirpur guys should provide some training to there guys regarding filling forms and taking care of important documentation.
Rest my experience with them was good.
