When the Deadpool movie was released, people had mixed opinions. Some said the movie was over-hyped, while others said the movie was just perfect. I decided to find out myself.(I badly wanted to see the movie to be honest!)
Am writing this during the intermission now:
One word for the movie: Awesome.
Its has been pretty entertaining so far, just what I had expected.
Deadpools entry, and the comic timing had everyone in the hall in splits.Everything has been on spot.
Deadpool breaking the fourth sixteenth wall was a welcome addition. The second half of the movie was just as good. maybe even better than the first half!
Though the story was kinda predictable, and Wades flashback scenes were a tad bit boring, I must admit the movie lived up to all the hype it had generated. The subtle direct references to other movies and characters is something unlike we have ever seen before.
Two words to sum up the movie?: Laugh riot.
Definitely waiting for the sequel with bated breaths.
One thing that really irked me was the censorship. It seemed like many of the primary punch-lines had just been erased away, leaving the audience, myself included, pretty disappointed; while other scenes, which might have upset a few people, had found its way into the screening reel, leaving me confused as to what they were actually trying to do.
Why give the movie a rating of A, (read: Adult)
When you are going to censor it anyway?
P.S: Watch out for the post credits scene.;)
