You must be here to read a Deadpool movie review because unless you’ve lost your way and found yourself falling down one of those online rabbit holes, why else would be reading this potentially pointless review, am I right? As some of you may already know, Deadpool is a gleefully self-referential, fourth wall-breaking nonconformist ‘superhero’. And, as you’ll soon find out, some of that Deadpoolian spirit may have rubbed off a teensy-weensy bit here.
Deadpool is not your grandfather’s superhero movie. Come to think of it, it isn’t your 13-year-old nephew’s superhero movie
Deadpool may not be the first Marvel character for grown-ups. But this "merc with a mouth, " as he’s known, feels like the first one with real teeth. I’ll wager he’s got legs, too. The fast-talking, funny and filthy superhero "sounds like a(expletive) franchise, " to use his own words. As with nearly everything else that comes out of the character’s mouth, it’s hard to argue.
