Latest update - Friday 10th June, 11
Summary of the protracted mail exchanges is that vendor acknowledges he sent me a different product than what I have ordered / paid for and the website assumes no responsibility. Beware when dealing with https://dealsandyou.com - you may order a Casio w/w and get an HMT if you are lucky; if not, you will get a Rs.30 worth reebok tin watch!

Dear Neeraj
Two points - Azzaro Black for Men and Azzaro Pour Homme are two different and distinct perfumes, make no mistake on that. Second, the difference @ Rs.200 is in the open market between these two products. Black is costlier. I can give you a reliable vendor name and number if you want to check it, but then, you know that, dont you?
What is ordered/billed to me is different from what was finally delivered to me. I knowpour homme meansfor men - in this context, its part of the name to distinguish it from the other one.
Its fine if you want to maintain your stand as I have already paid in advance so dont have recourse for correction but its a malpractice. You may get inital sales, but once it registers that this is the business model, nobody will buy from you.

Hi,
Attached under, please find the revert from dealsandyou. (Also attached pictures of the actual order item and what was delivered to me).
This was only after several reminders. I also spoke to the vendor who has billed for the product # 022-66396585, NR Computech, Lamington Rd - who said that he has dispatched the products to the website and doesnt know what they have disptached!
The usual game plan of these rogue sites is to hike up the purported MRP and then show huge discounts while still charging more than market price for the same. In my case, the fraudsters palmed off a lower end product as a higher end one. Bunch of by rogues!

Dear customtakeouter,
Greetings from Deals and You.
We request you to check the MRP of the product by the manufacturer not by visiting on other websites because we have written MRP of the product not the prices of shoshaa.com and if you think wrong product has delivered to you please contact the vendor from where it was delivered to you.

Hi,
Id ordered anAzzaro Black for Men EDT spray @ Rs.1599 on May 16th from the dealsandyou site. What was finally delivered on June 4th isAzzaro Pour Homme EDT spray which sells on Shoshaa.com @ Rs.1076!
The invoice received with the product was from a firm by the nameNR Computech - here I assume NR stands forNot Reliable!, located at Lamington Rd, Mumbai. This place is notorious for all kinds of fake products.
Be that as it may be. I registered on a site which promised me quality products at a good price but what I get after paying in advance is a bum / different product to what I had ordered. This amounts to deficient services / conning customtakeouters and is an apt matter to be referred to the consumer courts.
But, we all know the law here favors the wrongdoers so doesnt make any sense to waste 1000s to recover a few 100s. All of you just be warned that a favorite tactic of all these con sites viz. perfumes2order, fashionandyou, dealsandyou et al is to show a product with a higholy inflated MRP and then show a huge discount. Actual discount would only be around 10% or so. Dont take my word for it - take an example say Davidoff Champion 90ml EDT spray which has a market MRP @ Rs.4800. Check the MRP quoted on various sites. This product is available in the open market @ Rs.3600 while these rogue websites will charge you @ Rs.4000!
Another trick is to offer an expensive brand and dispatch a lower one as done in my case. Product may be original but you cannot accept a lower end product when you paid for the higher one, right?
I have lodged a compliant today. Will update all on the progress.
Cheers!
