Dear maya is the story manisha koirala as a maya and two girls madiha as enna and shreya chaudhary as era. Maya is a lonly, frustated and reserve type woman who leave in shimla, enna and era are two school girls trying to do something to give some happyness to the maya. One day they send some love letters for maya by the name of a non existing person. Now the maya feels love for that non existing person and sold out her bunglow and leave shimla and go to the delhi to search out that person. Finally enna feels very bad and guilty for maya and she decided to find maya and accept the mistakes.
The performances of all the actors has great specially manisha and madiha. But story is not so good. Screanplay could be better. Its simple and slow story.There is nothing new to watch.
The direction by sunayana bhatnagar is not upto the mark. She fails to taking nice work from manisha.
Music is not so good. Background score is not bad.
Overall dear maya is not great movie but you can watch it one time only for the performances by manisha, madiha imaam and shreya chaudhary, not for its story.
