The film is jointly produced by SRK’s Red Chillies Entertainment and Dharma Productions. This will be Shinde’s second directorial after the critically and commercially successful English Vinglish(in 2012). Gauri had clarified that the film would not be a “typical love story”.
SRK will be seen opposite Alia, who is one of the youngest of SRK’s heroines thus far, for the first time. Dear Zindagi will the theatres on November 25.
