Dear Zindagi has been a very awaited movie in 2016. The soundtrack is finally out, and here is a detailed review.
Love You Zindagi: Love You Zindagi is a soft delightful track that instantly lights up our mood with its breezy music. The cuteness is added by Jasleen Royal’s vocals which is very innocent and appealing. Kausar Munir’s lyrics are heart felt and very relatable. This is a track that will surely light up your mood, when you are alone and in despair.
Tu Hi Hai: Tracks like Tu Hi Hai makes us realize the soul power of Arijit Singh. Not only is Tu Hi Hai written beautifully, but also sung with much ease by Arijit. The uniqueness of this song lies in its conversational nature. The mushy romantic track will surely appeal to the audiences.
Taarefon Se: Taarefon Se is a signature Amit Trivedi track. The light strumming and peppy beats, an overall jazz feel are quite likable and Kausar Munir’s quirky lyrics blend beautifully. It may not be a long lasting track, but is worth a hear.
Let’s Break Up: Sung by Vishal Dadlani, this one is a fast paced number. The beats are similar to most party tracks. Not a highly recommended track, but party people will love it.
Just Go To Hell Dil: The lyrics have been penned down by Kausar Munir, and just convey the right heartbreak feelings. But the song as a whole is not very relatable, maybe because Amit Trivedis music doesnt blend in with lyrics well. Sunidhi Chauhan sings it beautifully, but something is missing.
Ae Zindagi Gale Laga Le: Ilaiyaraaja’s composition from Sadma, written by Gulzar, Ae Zindagi gets a refreshing edge to it with this track. Trivedi adds some good bass guitar and Arijit Singh’s vocals is just so soothing. The track sounds good, without losing the flavour of the original song. There is another version of the song, sung by Alia Bhatt. The beats are upbeat for this one and Alia’s casual singing makes it sound really good.
On the whole, this is album is light-hearted, has some really good tracks. A must listen if you want to relax.
