Pathetic Service from SBI-GE cards

Just imagine if you want to increase the credit limit of a card that you got in a special offer from the Bank. Normally the cards given in various promotional schemes are of very less credit values even when you are promised a good limit while signing the document.


I had a card from SBI-GE venture for the Railway reservations purpose after vigoroul followups from the SBI team.


And then the problem started.


Credit limit given in the card is too small to be used for the travelling purposes these days by 2AC or 3AC. If you happen to ask the bank after 1 years with good repayment even then thay will ask for the n no of documents as compared to the other banks.


1st they will ask for the availability of the other cards, then Xerox of its front face and back with CVV blakened.


I wonder how a bank can ask legally for the face of the cards even when scanned statements are already submitted.


Even if you give it, they will call up you after months stating that this card doesn’t belongs to the SBI and  you have to give the Salary slips & Bank statements of last three months+ form -16.


This is funny even when you already have a Bank account with SBI with substantial balances & good CIBIL rating.


If you happen to give it somehow, then they will call up you again after months to give again the Alternate bank cards.


At last I lost all hope in this SBI-GE card.


How a Bank asks for the Front face & Back of the other Bank card.Legally?


Why they sell the cards with wrong informations?
