To all those who are seeking some advice from the so called agency who claim that they will rectify your credit score, provide analysis, repair your credit rating etc. Please beware and do not fall into the trap, one such company based out of bangalore by name Debt Doctor is into fraudulent practice of cheating customers.
First thing is they chase you and talk sweetly to get you enrolled for the services. they tell you that a complete analysis of your credit rating (Cibil score), following up with Banks to get the records corrected, provide information from the bank etc all these services will be provided. once you enroll finished, then you will have to chase them for the promised services. They raised a request for the Cibil score report, I received it and forwarded it.
I do not get a call, I call them and ask them what next. They say " Sir, I have already briefed you about what is to be done" when, to whom, where....crazy!!! then she tell me that I have only one default as per my Cibil report, as if I cannot read the report. The solution provided, please pay the amount due and everything will be settled. how much amount I need to pay, it is not clear was my question, "ok sir, I will contact the bank and let you know the amount due" I do not get a call, I contact the bank and find out the total amount due. I clear it off.
The complete analysis is not provided as promised, follow up with Bank and Cibil is not done ( I did it on my own) and the charges for getting the services provided Rs.6000/-. where as you can get the cibil report for Rs.500/- itself.
When I contact them to refund the amount, they state that it not as per the policy. I wondered how these unethical organisation is talking about policies, their practise is to fleece customers. so please stay away from Debt Doctor.
