I think deccan chronicle is slowly loosing its ground in the media industry. Previously I was a great reader of Deccan Chronicle and used to enjoy each and every article of it. But since 2-3 years I am noticing that I get no value add after reading the paper. Most of the articles in the paper are useless. If by mistake any news comes then it would masala like rape, murder or accident. I very well understand that there things are happening in outside world but I as a reader would expect some information which would enhance my work capabilities and make me more competitive.
The only thing which is not letting this papers sales go down is the movies section. This is the section which I see atleast 4 times a week. There may be a week when I dont look at the main page at all but atleast twice a week I see the cinema section. Thanks to all the big big movie clips which are pasted on the paper.
I am a great follower of share markets and emerging indian market. But deccan chronicle articles do not satisfy my thirst to get more knowledge about the indian market and where it is heading towards.
So overall I am not satisfied with deccan chronicle.
