They concentrate more on film personalities and their movements than issues of national importance.Imagine when the Atomic Power Plant Comission was pushed to a corner when it is a Historic moment.
They created a lot of hype with their low cost and the Rs.99 / year .The latter scheme was a total sham with irregular delivery and poor paper quality and very bad language and some unwanted columns and importance to certain religions.
The shift to Chronicle cost me bad marks in English and also lose my vocabulary which was supposed to fetch me better marks in dead subjects like Economics.We shifted back to Hindu and I became the class-topper in my English mid-term exam.
