I am a regular subscriber to the Deccan Herald newspaper. It’s a good newspaper, giving decent news without being overtly biased, having a fair standard of English which is neither too high-standard like The Hindu or the street-level English in TOI and has decent family-friendly supplements.
I don’t have much complaints about DH, but its print quality and layout is not so good and modern compared to other leading newspapers. Print quality and layout of a newspaper IMO is an important issue which could affect the paper’s circulation among the youth. Hopefully, that will improve with time.
