Are you retired from your job or work from home have made you lethargic.
heres your option then.
drink Thumps up, say "Aaj Kuch Toofani Karte Hain" and goto Decorpot.
Heres what shall happen to you.
You will visit the experience centers(whitefield or HSR) and this has no relevence to what would be built at your site.
Marketing team would take a 10% advance of the proposed value - which again differs a lot to the actual quotes. They would promise a lot, soft closures everywhere, century ply, 18 mm.but heres the ground reality.
They use their own ply-not century.
The 18mm is including the laminates, which means it is 16mm only.
All back panels are 6mm only.
once you pay this, it would go to designing, where your next struggle happens. Designers quit here left right and centre. They are bombarded with projects and thus 2 -5 days of design phase ideally takes 1-2 months easy.
If you survided this and went to production, the next issue happens. There is no PM at this point of time and no one to chase. You would be told that its in factory, and if you visit the factory you shall get to know nothing is there.
If by now you are still alive and did not get a heart attach or a BP issue, you would have paid 100% and waiting(plus praying to god) that your items are delivered to your site.
nothing comes together, mine took 2 months for basic things like hinges and wardrobe channels to come through.
Its 5 months now and am still waiting for issues to be rectified.
Heres some of the major problems with Decorpot(reference: Project code 1750):
Pathetic inter team communication - no one knows whats happing overall.
You would get bugged and tired and exhausted chasing up multiple people.
If they damage anything(tiles/mess/granites) you need video poof.
Agreement is pathetic, am still fighting to get the damages and delay compensation processed.
QC is pathetic, what is done in design VS what comes out to the house, there are huge differences.
Lamites/ materials are always Out of stock, and the wait time is high.
high attrition inside decorpot.
PS1: I did not write names, just not to jeopardise with their career.
Try getting done by a local carpenter(on site), it shall be cheaper, better and up to the mark. never ever go to Decorpot
PS2: one more thing, if I get continuous calls from the PMs(like a lot of my friends are getting) to delete this review, my promise is that I shall edit this with name and photos now:-)
