It was a very challenging movie to cast Madhuri Dixit in a movie that previously had Vidya Balan. It is hard not to compare the roles of the two actresses and they way they have played it. Frankly, Dedh Ishqiya is a good movie, better than its prequel.
However beautiful Madhuri looked on screen and tried to be a modern Chandramukhi, she couldn’t pull it off like Vidya Balan did.
