Dekeling resort is property of dekeling hotels. Hotel is placed at mall road and resort away form city at hill top. You will feel like being in the lap of mother nature. There are only 4 suites in resort and rooms are spacious, made of wooden roofs. But property is old and roof of our room started leaking during rain. They don’t have running restaurant and food is cooked at dekeling hotel and then brought to resort.
So for lunch you have to place order at breakfast time and for dinner you have to place order at lunch time. There are not many options for breakfast. We reached at 3PM and had to take bread with butter at lunch.
For 3 days stay we had bread at breakfast because they take 1 hr for pranthas to be served. There are two attendants at resort. Sometimes you wont see anyone around and no one will pick up phone at reception. We had to wait for nearly 2 hours after reaching at resort for bedding. We were coming from Gangtok and were tired a lot, we did not have proper meal at lunch and could not take rest also. But next 2 days we enjoyed the sight scenes and surroundings from the resort.
