Awsome

The movie is surreal in parts. The cinematography is one that has to be seen to believe it. There is sepia tone to all the scenes which makes the colors stand out and it looks great.

The songs’Dil gira’ and almost all the Kala Bandar sequences seem out of the world. You can almost feel the claustrofobia in the lanes of Delhi as the movie progresses. The songs are awsome -’Delhi 6’ makes your heart go fast, ’Maula maula’ has the warmth and the serenity, ’Dil Gira’ makes you nostalgic, ’Genda Phool’ makes your feet move:D.

The underlying message of the movie is so beautifully coveyed through the monkey man episodes. Most of the people did not like the movie since they could not identify with the varied characters, but in Delhi such people exist:D.

I had gone to Delhi and you are literally overwhelmed by their openness, Outgoing and pompous nature. The saying’Dilwalon ki Delhi’ is not just a catch-phrase. The liberal use of Haryanvi also makes the dialogues fun:D. Abhishek’s moves and expressions of the carefree NRI make you feel for him.

Truly a masterpiece by ROMP, it might become one my all time favourite movies.
