I visited this part of India for audit purpose in 2008 and at the end of the day’s work I was took in restaurant by my client which is one of the most famous restaurants here. We had initially started with few refreshment items like spring roll and paneer tikka. Then I ordered for Chola-Bhatura which is traditional food of Punjab. It was well served with salad and lots of butter because people here prefer lots of milk product items with their food.
The aroma of the food was absolutely natural and tempting that I could not resist myself to take two plates which I ate with lots of interest. We had this food in open air which is the best way to enjoy traditional food of Punjab. The restaurant was very big and so well ventilated that even 100 people’s visit will not create any kind of chaos. The staffs were very good in their prompt service and approach. Their physical appearance looks very strong but they are very humble with smiling faces. What else you need to enjoy the traditional food of Punjab in a traditional way!
