I have got a new Dell Dimention , Just to own a International Brand that gives me good looking professional desktop toget the feel of Office. The specks are as follows: CPU : 2.66 GHZ Hard Disk : 60 GB O/S : Windows X/P Optical Drives : 48X DVD R/CD RW RAM : 256 MB The machine is not as fast as I expected. Moreover, It took more than 20 days to reveive the machine from malaysia.. I would like to comment on the dell support that is horrible. In spite of many warnings, I got it. Now when I found like, I did not get the proper optical drive, I did not get any reply, help or alteast any contact number to clarify my doubt. Instead, My calls to Dell Toll free number are just hung up by the front office people with out even Listening. I dont know the name of the Great Lady who is sitting at the help Desk. My call’s between 12:15 to 12:45 today (5/12/2003) are not listened, but just hung I dont know what’s the attitude of these DELL People. I was so offended with their behaviour that , I repented spending over a lakh to get a normal desktop. And I want to write this review so that no one will repent loosing so much money just for a brand name. My final Verdict: Don’t Go for this...
