Dell Inspiron 1520 was my first laptop.
Purchased it on 16th of Sep, 2012 and still using it.
Reasons for Choosing:
Had heard that Dell laptops are best performance wise. My elder brother too had one.
Still, I researched a lot online before buying.
This was the best laptop given its price and the features provided.
And the performance benchmark of Dell.there was no doubt in my mind to make the final decision.

I purchased it for around 32000/- from a local dealer as I mostly do.
Original Battery went down this year in last week of August. Almost 3 years.
No issues.till date.
Just found it slightly bulkier.handle carefully while you take it out or put it inside the bag.
This is the best choice for average indian customer.
Please check if its available now as I can’t locate it on Snapdeal. and the new price
BUT IN ANY CASE, I WOULD RECOMMEND DELL LAPTOPS
