I recently bought a Dell Inspiron 14R (N4010) directly from Dell. The details of the purchase are the following:

The purchase was a rakhi gift for my sister. Firstly I did not receive the order within Estimated Delivery Date of 20/082010 which I was told by the salesperson G. Manjunath to be the maximum delay possible. I received no response to my complaint emails. Finally after calling and pestering them for innumerable times the laptop was delivered a day before rakhi. To our utter amazement, the laptop did not even have a sound device in it. The bluetooth in the laptop did not work, and the Office Product Key with the laptop was incorrect.
The mail with all these complaints has not been replied to. We called the Call Centre on innumerable occasions to help us but all they do is listen to the problem and put us on hold for eternity so that we finally have to hangup. This purchase has been one of the most bitter experience of my life. The rakhi gift actually caused a fight with my sister and she refuses to speak to me. Would warn you to purchase any product from Dell as their service which made buy the product in the first place actually sucks. I have actually purchased an extended warranty from them with accidental insurance. Now this seems to be the worst purchase ever made by me.
