Dark screen. Dell sends a 15.6-inch all-rounder into the fight for buyers’ favor with its Inspiron 15-5558. The laptop pleases with an IPS screen that, however, has a much too low brightness.

Dell’s Inspiron 15-5558 is the newest scion of the Inspiron 15-5000 lineup and is a 15.6-inch all-rounder. The laptop only has something in common with its precursor in terms of processor. Both models are furnished with Broadwell processors. The 5558 comes with a new casing, and the AMD graphics core still installed in the precursor has now been replaced with a GPU from Nvidia.Laptops like Acer’s Aspire E5-571G, HP’s Pavilion 15 and Toshiba’s Satellite L50-B count to the Inspiron’s rivals.
