I have a Dell Inspiron 15 3000 series laptop.
The specifications are-
4th gen i7
1TB HDD
8GB RAM
2GB NIVIDIA Graphics
Seems great. Right?
But it isnt.
The problems I experienced are -
1) The i7 processor looks appealing on paper but its as it is a 4th gen i7 it isnt working fine with windows 10. The laptop came with windows 8 pre-installed and worked fine. But after it got updated to windows 10 it takes eternity to boot.
2) The 8gb RAM also looks good only on paper. Some softwares I use like AutoCAD, Revit lag in this laptop and sometimes laptop hangs.
3) The battery is also not good. For me, it runs for around 2.5 to 3 hrs, while watching movie continuously on WiFi or LAN.
Some good features-
1) It has a keyboard with backlight. Useful while working at night in dark.
2) Front Camera quality is satisfactory. So, video calling via skype has a good scope.
3) Touchpad response is good.
Conclusion-
If you are looking for a laptop for running high-end softwares or games. Dont buy this laptop, it wont prove worthy. While, If you are just looking for a laptop for running softwares like MS Office and other medium softwares you can go for this, since it works good with windows 8.
