After going through a lot of laptop brands and reading their reviews on any website I can get my hands onto I decided to go in for dell. Now dell does not have a retail store anywhere in the world. it believes in the concept of direct marketing that is you have to go to their website and order from there.. so I went to the website and chose dell inspiron 1501.. now for the same configuration other brands were quoting me more than 70 k but dell quoted me 51 which was a deal in itself.
The only problem was that I wont be able to see the laptop before I get it so I went ahead and ordered for the laptop and it would be assembled and shipped from malaysia and each and every move of my laptop I could monitor from their website...the laptop was shipped to me 5 days before it said in their website. it came in big box in which the laptop was very securely kept.
After opening the box the sight of the machine was delightful. it was a beautiful machine. started the laptop and went through the starting setup and then connected to the internet and absolutely no problems. infact the wifi was also very quick to respond and without any issues went ahead and was able to connect to the internet. the screen was a matt screen and it was a widescreen and it was beautiful...u can work peacfully with the screen at the lowest also.
this machine is completely suited for entertainment as well as office work...everythiing is fantastic about this machine and I am extremely glad that I bought this machine..defintely value for money...recommended for first time users of the laptop and people who want to use it for music, games and movies.
