The first thing thing that anyone would think about when buying a Laptop is Durability and Quality. Looking at those aspects with a Low budget I think the best option is a Inspiron 1501. It comes with a power packed AMD Turion X2 processor, although the same is not configurable on the website of DELL, on calling the customer care they give you options of going up to a TL-56 processor(1.8Ghz, 1MB Cache, 533Mhz FSB) which is really blazing fast as compared to any of the Intel Platforms that I have worked on till date. It also comes with a integrated 256MB ATI Radeon Graphics Card (ATI as well all known has now merged with AMD) thereby coming up with fabulous graphics at a very high FPS.
The major drawbacks of this model are that it doesnt come with DELL MediaDirect and Integrated Bluetooth option which I think DELL would have to give a serious rethink about following the widespread popularity of AMD Based Laptops abroad. Atleast for the Bluetooth one could surely think about a Handy Bluetooth Dongle which nowadays is inexpensive. All in all, if you are looking at power packed performance I think one must seriously consider this model.
