I bought this laptop in Jan 2009 and suffering it since then. My laptop freezes and fails me very day. It has failed me at important presentations and I have been ridiculed by my wife and children for going after blind faith on DELL as a company formed by their extensive advertisement.
I had repeatedly reported my problem and their online service engineers wasted lot of my time. Thrice attended to at home they are yet to rectify the problem I am facing immediately after a months use. My last complaint in May 2009 still remains unattended. Even a mail to the CEO has not yielded results. Surfing the net for remedy I found there are hundreds more annoyed and dejected than me.
I lost some of my saved contents when they tried their hands at repair services after repeated calls. I have given up hopes as a bad joke as I feel I should not waste more of my time on it. Saving grace is that my little son plays lot of games on it and does not mind the freezing at times. But I mind as it has failed me at business meetings and public presentations and now I borrow my friends spare laptop for presentations. If a company cannot provide service it should not sell. It is like not looking after ones children. Hence I feel orphaned by irresponsible DELL.
