Dell laptops are to stay for long and I can say so after using it for years.
I have been using Dell inspiron n5010 from last 3 years and except battery problem once have never faced any major issues till date.
After replacing the battery, it was again new. If I talk out the performance of Dell n5010 then even heavy loaded games can be played without any lagging or stopping problem. The maintenance cost of the laptop is not much for me and has been worth money and performance wise. The look and design is so well build up that it does not get damaged so easily. Once my niece dropped it although not from much height but not a single scratch was seen. The Dell support is very good and professional. I would recommend it to everyone who want a rough, durable and good performance laptop.
