I am writing the review comments on Dell Inspiration 15R 5520 laptop based on my experience.
Dell Inspiration 15R 5520 laptop is an appealing and customizable design, a 3rd gen Core i5 processor and a robust collection of applications.
Design
It has got a high radius corners, glossy plastic lid and brushed aluminium deck and has a premium look and style for a mainstream notebook.
the space between the keys on the keyboard is a glossy black, contrasting nicely with the dark gray brushed deck. The dell logo on the lid and "Inspiron" insignia below the screen shine a reflective chrome. On the top right of the deck, above the keyboard, are dashboard buttons for the Windows Mobility Center, Dell Audio and Dell Instant Launch, providing quick access to system setings, audio and a program or link of the user’s choosing.
Display
The screen delivers rich colours, but the high-gloss finish proved distracting. When I watched trailer for "The Avengers", details were crisp and clear. party scenes were bright and vivid.
Audio
Listening to music on 15R is a pleasant experience.
Webcam
A 720p HD webcam above the display supports video chats up to 1280x720 pixels, and the images looked sharp and clear.
Battery Life
The Inspiron 15R’s 6-cell Lithium Ion battery lasted 3 hours.

It’s not the thinnest, prettiest, or most powerful 15.6 inch notebook around, but it still has a place in the market. the Dell Inspiron 15R 5520 performs well for its price, features an impressive four USB 3.0 ports, and has a large, if not very high-resolution screen. It’s built with solid components, and has excellent speakers for its size.
Unless you are looking for something very specific-such as an attractive exterior or serious processing power, the 15R is an average choice for budget conscious shoppers.
