This laptop is extremely good and great in price, quality and looks. It comes with pre-installed Ubuntu OS but when I installed windows 10 in this laptop it worked very smoothly. It comes along with 1 TB hard disk which gives us so much room to save plenty of photos, videos and music in it without worried of any limited space. Battery backup is also nice.It last long approximately 4 to 5 hours on normal usage. Even though using it for hours together I could not feel any heating issues at all. It has intel i3 5th generation processor with 4 GB ram that makes it’s performance really very good. It worked very softly even after installing heavy softwares. I did not faced any lagging issues while doing multiple task on this laptop. But, if you want to play high-end graphic games, then I think those games will not work properly and it can cause crashing or freezing issues on your system. So, I will not suggest you buy this laptop for gaming purpose. This laptop comes along with 4 GB ram, but we can upgrade it up to 8 GB. Display and sound quality of the laptop are pretty good and 15.6 inches screen size is well complimented by the Intel Integrated Graphics card which provides a great multimedia experience on this laptop. On some sites people commented that it has a 2 GB graphic card but its not true, it comes along with 1 TB integrated graphic on board. This laptop also has 1 HDMI port, 1 USB 3.0, and 2 USB 2.0 ports. One problematic issue I faced in this laptop was with it’s touchpad. It was not responding properly and it was the really annoying issue. but after reinstalling the touchpad drivers it worked properly.Except for this touchpad issue other features of this laptop are excellent. Finally I also would like to tell you, that we don’t get any driver cd with it because dell doesn’t provide such kind of cd’s nowadays but if we want, then we can download it manually from their website. All in all, the Dell Inspiron 3558 is very well equipped laptop for its selling price.
