The Inspiron 6400 is second to none. Value of money, hassle free service, online customizable option. Perfect!!!. I bought it Mumbai on 23rd Nov 06 having T2400, 1 GB RAM, 80 HDD, ATI 256MB hypermemory-, DVD +/- RW, 6 cell battery at around 62500/-. Around 2 days back , due to high voltage, some snags were developed in the adaptor. I called Dell customer care, bangalore, at 11:30 AM and they replaced the faulty adaptor at 2:30 PM, same day. Just in 3 hours, without going any where. Isn’t it Superb, Excellent !!!.
Its silverish color body is very appealing but not scratch proof. You can NJOI the two and half hour movie without using adaptor with 6 cell battery and sound is too loud too fill up the big hall. Screen resolution, brighteness & viewing angle is good enough at this price. Dell pre installed some useful softwares like DVD & CD player, Network/WiFi support etc
