AVIOD DELL INSPIRON N5110 SERIES LIKE A PLAGUE

I had purchased this system (bearing Ser No 97MLVQ1) on 13 Dec 2011. Ever since the sytem has been giving me a series of troubles. After protracted correspondence over 10 months and several visits to their Service Centre in Noida, Mother Board, LCD Screen have been replaced once and HDD and touch pad twice. However the problem of touch pad still continues to haunt. As per company policy, if 3 or more parts are replaced during warranty period, the system is replaced, but the company reps are shying away from it and want me to go for trouble shooting by reformatting the HD and downloading the drivers and software again and again. An arrangement which is no longer acceptable to me as it has already been done more than a dozen times in the past without success.


I can certainly say with conviction that this product is highly avoidable. Besides the company needs to have a more proactive approach towards the problems faced by their clients instead of trying to ride rough shod over them.
