Dell service is HELL SERVICE.

dell service is HELL SERVICE. and TO HELL WITH dell.


NEVER EVER PURCHASE A dell latitude computer. YOU WILL END UP IN HELL. My laptop is now faulty for the last two months and the ’hell’ service of dell could not revive it! they are so efficient.


NEVER EVER PURCHASE A dell latitude computer. The laptop will be faulty every now and then and nobody will help you. you ring up customer service number and every time you will be transferred from one person to another telling this is not the section which deals with latitude.


In the process you spend at least two hours if not more before reaching the proper person and if your number gets disconnected in the meantime your owe is even longer. They don’t have any direct number for latitude. WHY?


I had to ring up five times as my system got out of order every 4/5 days and spent twelve valuable hours without desirable result.


THEY DON’T HAVE SERVICE ENGINEERS. They save money on that by making you work on the computer on their remote command, and so the system never gets OK. even if they send one engineer after months of pleading he will not check the system thoroughly but only follow a remote order to replace something or check a particular part.


Therefore your system remains faulty as happened in my case.


Another irony is their HI-FI system diagnostics will show nothing wrong and still the laptop will not even start, forget about any other problem.


And although my laptop is still in WARRANTY PERIOD it  is not being replaced either. Therefore I will now approach The CONSUMER FORUM for redress of my grievance.


After learning all this do you want to go to HELL with a dell? Certainly not. The conclusion is NEVER EVER PURCHASE A dell latitude computer. YOU WILL END UP IN HELL. May be it is the same with other dell products also.


Fortunately I don’t have the misfortune to have more than one dell. All other HP or HCL or ACER laptops and computers/ servers in our office (around 30/35) /home (around seven) runs efficiently and serviced promptly as and when any problem occurs.


It is a HELL experience with Dell and so never again I and all my folks in family and office (a government of India office) will make a blunder of purchasing a dell computer.
