This model I got from my office and not purchased. Our organization purchased a large number of laptops for its employees. The main reason for purchasing Dell was its bid was lowest amongst the rest with the same specification.
However after using it for one year, I am totally satisfied with its performance. It is sturdy, large screen, works flawlessly on windows vista business with only 1GB Ram. I also do video editing with reasonable speed. since last one year my laptop was rarely shut down but it never complained.
I use almost all the hardware came along with it and all works excellently, like wireless adapter, bluetooth adapter, DVD RW.
Battery life is also excellent. U can use it for more than 2 hours on battery if used in proper way.
The greatest advantage of any dell product is their warranty service. I will suggest to buy the dell product with their three year on site warranty, which is not given by any other company.
I called the service center twice in one year, once for software conflict and once to change my hard disc which had developed bad sectors. They served me within 24 hrs at my convenient place. This is awesome.
About the cons: Little heavy and bulky, No inbuilt webcam.
