The E5440 is a fantastic mid-range business laptop. Of my own experience, the netbooks in the Dell Latitude series are well-built. After using one at work for more than a year, I made the decision to buy one for my home office. A docking station and a big monitor make a nice combination. Drive encryption, password security, and excellent performance are all features of the solid state drive(Lite-on). If you have long, difficult passwords like I do, a fingerprint reader makes the logon process incredibly simple. This computer boots up in roughly 12 secs with Win 7 Pro and/or in about 9 secs with Win 10 Pro when it has a clean install and does not have the system drive encrypted(the drive is merely password secured). So I Defenetely recommomd this laptop for person looking for pocket friendly laptop.
